There are several manufacturers of this kind of coffee maker. They tried to explore all kinds of different approaches to producing and most of the succeeded in it.

DeLonghi pay lots of attention to design since it is an Italian producer. As we know Italy is a country of famous designers, especially in fashion but also in all other aspects of life.

The only idea for creating another type of product I get is to make it with the possibility to be installed in a kitchen. Similar to, for example, a microwave oven. First, it was made as a freestanding oven and after a few years, manufactories made it ad built-in.

Basic user manual

Before first using you need to add water to a tank as shown in the image.

Next, it is important to assemble the rest of the parts such as the patron tank, and colander with tank wor excessive spill.

Before you press the START button plug in the power cord.

When pressed the START button will blink red indicating the machine preheating process. When ready button will change to green colour.

The two buttons on the side of the scroll button are used if we need cold water (blue) or hot water (red).

Before we use the machine it is IMPORTANT to let the machine drain water without making any coffee to clean it. You have to do it for cold and for hot water as well.

You can use the scroll button to order how much water will be used. This is determined by the patron you choose. There is a small image of water necessary on every patron so there can be no mistake.

Cleaning

If you stumble on a malfunction that you cannot resolve call the local number for assistance.

If you suspect that the machine needs cleaning or coffee or tea has a weird taste buy anti-calc in a local store and use its manual to dissolve it in a machine water tank.

Engage the machine and empty a tank with anti-calc and 2 tanks more with fresh water to clean it.

Advanced user techniques - some options that are not easily visible

You can use the machine to make tea.

If this is the case don't put coffee patron into a patron case. Just let the hot water flow into a cup and add a tea bag.
